Shawn Grady, President
Mr. Grady was raised in the Houston area. His mother immigrated to the United States from South Korea in the 1970s. He is a member of the Houston Korean Hanbit Presbyterian Church, and active member in the community at large.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Texas and graduated with honors from law school at South Texas College of Law, in Houston. He has served as a civil litigation attorney at Sheehy, Ware & Pappas, P.C., a downtown law firm of about 40 lawyers, for almost five years, where he has been trained by successful trial lawyers. He represents large and small companies in collections and creditor's rights, business litigation, and employment law matters.
Esther Noh, Treasurer
Esther was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Hawaii. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas.
Esther has a direct interest in global issues and immigration law. She has experience in a variety of immigration and nationality matters, with extensive experience in both family and business immigration.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Immigration Lawyers Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association. She serves as the community liaison for the Korean American Society of Houston and legal counsel for the board of directors for the Korean Language School of Houston.
Esther is a native Korean speaker and enjoys international travel, running, hiking, skiing, and surfing.
She is currently training for the Chevon Houston Marathon 2016 and will be raising money in an effort to build wells around the world with Team Living Water.
Min Gyu "Peter" Kim, Secretary
Peter is a first generation Korean American who immigrated to the United States when he was 4 years old. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law History and Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. He is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. Peter is the founding partner of the Law Firm of Min Gyu Kim, PLLC. His primary areas of practice are Consumer Bankruptcy, Chapters 7 and 13 Bankruptcy, Foreclosure Defense and Credit Card Defense.
He learned the meaning of hard work and overcoming challenges that life can throw at him through the examples that his parents showed. Throughout his life and career, they have reminded him that being a lawyer is a privilege that requires a humble attitude, whose interest is to serve the needs of his clients and community. With this in mind, Peter is fervently committed to being an exceptional attorney who can help and more importantly, make the process easier for his clients, as well as do great things for the Korean community. He is dedicated to providing his utmost care and consideration while representing individuals and families who are experiencing personal and financial hardships.
Peter is fluent in Korean and English.
